Holistic Therapy for Trauma, Anxiety and Emotional Healing

A trauma-informed, body-based approach to healing—supporting nervous system regulation, emotional integration and lasting change.

A Grounded Approach to Healing

This work is for those who are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, trauma or chronic stress—and are looking for a deeper, more integrated way to heal.

Holistic therapy recognises that our experiences are not just held in the mind, but also in the body.

Rather than only talking about what has happened, we work with how it is held in your system—supporting real, embodied change.

A Psychosomatic and Embodied Approach

This approach brings together mind and body.

We work with:

  • nervous system regulation

  • physical sensations and tension patterns

  • emotional processing

  • awareness and integration

This is particularly supportive for:

  • anxiety and chronic stress

  • trauma and emotional overwhelm

  • chronic pain and fatigue

  • patterns that feel difficult to shift

Over time, this allows your system to feel safer, more regulated and more able to respond to life with ease.

How This Work Supports You

Through this process, you can begin to:

  • reduce anxiety and nervous system activation

  • understand and shift emotional patterns

  • feel more connected to your body

  • process unresolved experiences

  • develop greater resilience and stability

This is not about quick fixes—it is about creating lasting, sustainable change.

An Integrated Therapeutic Approach

My work draws from a range of approaches, including:

  • trauma-informed practice

  • transpersonal psychology

  • compassionate enquiry principles (as developed by Gabor Maté)

  • Jungian-informed perspectives

  • body-based and movement awareness practices

Alongside this, my 25 years of meditation practice deeply inform my understanding of awareness, emotional patterns and the process of healing.

Lived Experience and Understanding

In addition to formal study, this work is shaped by lived experience of trauma, chronic pain and long-term healing.

This brings a level of understanding that is not only theoretical, but grounded in the realities of navigating difficulty, rebuilding resilience and working with the body over time.

Who This Work Is For

This approach is suited to those who:

  • are experiencing anxiety, stress or burnout

  • are working through trauma or emotional pain

  • feel disconnected from their body or themselves

  • live with chronic pain or long-term conditions

  • are seeking a more integrated, body-based approach to healing

No prior experience with meditation or therapy is required.

A Safe and Supportive Space

Sessions are:

  • trauma-informed and paced carefully

  • grounded and non-judgemental

  • responsive to your individual needs

  • focused on creating safety and trust

We work at a pace that supports real integration, not overwhelm.

I offer private, one-to-one sessions online.
